Have you ever held an authentic Japanese sword? Not an imitation, but a blade forged in Japan and properly polished to reveal its true beauty.
Photographs and videos cannot fully capture what makes these swords so captivating. Only when you hold one and move it through the light does its character begin to emerge.
Through this series, I will explore what I see and feel when I stand before a Japanese sword—from its beauty and history to the traditions of swordsmithing and polishing.
My hope is simple: that one day you will experience an authentic Japanese sword for yourself.
